He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.He refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake.
Micah 6:8
At Hope Church, everything we do flows from who we are in Christ and who we are called to be as His church. Our mission, vision, and values help give shape to that calling. They remind us why we gather, what we are believing for, and how we choose to live and serve together.
These foundations keep us centred on Jesus, aligned in purpose, and united as a community. As we look to the future, they guide our steps and strengthen our commitment to loving God, loving people, and making a lasting difference in Pukekohe and beyond.
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
ROMANS 15:13 NIV

15 Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation, 16 for through him God created every-thing in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can’t see such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him. 17 He existed before anything else, and he holds all creation together. 18 Christ is also the head of the church, which is his body. He is the beginning, supreme over all who rise from the dead. So he is first in everything. 19 For God in all his fullness was pleased to live in Christ, 20 and through him God reconciled everything to himself. He made peace with everything in heaven and on earth by means of Christ’s blood on the cross.Colossians 1: 15-20 NLTHe has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? At Hope Church Franklin, our mission is rooted in introducing people to a life-giving relationship with Jesus. We believe church is not just a place you attend — it’s a community where people can connect with God, grow in faith, and discover purpose. We walk with one another as we learn to live out our calling, serve others with our gifts and talents, and experience life together in authentic community.
We envision a church where people encounter Jesus and are transformed by His love. We believe that as individuals grow in their relationship with God and connect deeply with others, they will live with purpose, joy, and impact. Our hope is to be a church that reflects God’s heart for every person — a place of belonging, growth, and mission in Pukekohe, Franklin, and beyond.
Christ is the heart of who we are and the foundation of our vision. As the Bible says in Colossians 1:15-20, Christ is supreme in all things and reconciles all things to Himself — including our lives and our community.
Our values are the principles that guide how we live, serve, and follow Jesus together. They shape our culture and how we do life as a church family.
Christ is the centre of everything we believe and do. He leads us, unites us, and forms the foundation of our community.
We believe our gifts and strengths are given to us not for self-promotion, but to serve others — both inside the church and in our wider community.
We draw strength not from circumstance, but from our salvation and joy in Jesus. This joy sustains us in life and ministry.
We value integrity — doing what we say we will do — because consistent action reveals true character.
We believe people matter, and we commit to communicating openly, honestly, and with love.
Our primary calling is to make disciples for Jesus Christ. We stay focused on this purpose as we grow and serve together.
We strive for excellence in everything we do — not for praise, but as a way of honouring God with our best.
We do life in community. Small groups and ministry teams are places where we share life, support one another, and grow together.
We seek to be generous — with our time, our resources, and our hearts — because God has been generous to us.
